Hi!! I’m Em!

I'm an environmental graphic designer, death communicator, amateur book reviewer, exclamation point fanatic, and future old crone. I'm fascinated by how brand systems play a role in cross-disciplinary design and can come to life in the real world.

I originally got into design because I have a life-long goal of getting people excited about learning. I love to dive deep into understanding science, history, and how we can improve ourselves by knowing more. I’m obsessed with learning and problem solving through design, and education plays a major role in the work that I love to do.

I want to be able to connect people with a renewed passion for learning through design, whether that’s through making complex information more accessible or presenting people with better options to make discovering something new more enjoyable.

Because I don’t leave my house anymore, you can usually find me listening to an audiobook and excitedly telling strangers on the internet all about the fun facts I just learned. You may also see me as an occasional guest on Atlas Obscura’s Dino 101.
